If you’re interested in becoming a vendor at the Texas Craft Fair, we’re excited to consider your application. There’s just one important detail we require all our vendors to agree to before participating: our non-compete clause. This agreement is crafted to ensure that each vendor—and the fair itself—has the best possible chance to thrive.

Here’s a breakdown of the non-compete clause:

When you make a commitment to set up your vending space on a scheduled date at the Texas Craft Fair, held at our well-known venue at 3300 Hwy 190 West, Livingston, TX, you also agree to refrain from participating in other competing events on that same date, within a 15-mile radius of our fairgrounds. In addition, we ask that FOOD VENDORS vending with us to please refrain from vending any events within a 1 mile radius of 3300 hwy 190 west, Livingston Texas for 14 days prior and 14 days after TCF vending date. This keeps your offerings unique and will help create better shopping atmosphere.

Let’s delve a little deeper:

  • Exclusivity: By reserving a booth or space at our event, you are agreeing to an exclusive engagement. This means you have decided not to attend or participate in any other market, fair, or similar event that directly competes with the Texas Craft Fair within the specified distance and dates.
  • Geographical Range: We’ve determined a 15-mile perimeter around our location as the exclusion zone. We ask that you respect this area as your zone of commitment to us on the event day.
  • Time Frames: The time frames during which the non-compete clause is effective are based on the event days. For Fridays, the timeframe is from 5 pm to 9 pm, and for Saturdays, it’s from 10 am to 6 pm.
  • Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel your reservation for an unavoidable reason, we ask that this be done as far in advance as possible, and it’s important to note that canceling to participate in a competing event within the exclusion zone and timeframe goes against our agreement.

We believe this policy is fair and benefits all involved—it assures you that you will not be competing with vendors who have chosen to attend multiple events on the same day, and it allows our attendees to enjoy a variety of unique and dedicated sellers. Your cooperation with this clause is greatly appreciated and helps make the Texas Craft Fair a distinctive experience for everyone.
